Church Life
Our Rhythms & Events
The rhythm of church life
As a church, we believe that every moment of every day is an opportunity to know and to follow God. But we have some rhythms and structures in place to help us with that. This is a summary of that, and there’s more information about some of it below. Every part of this is open to everyone, so if you’d like to join in, let us know!
DAILY – living for Jesus
Every day, we see to put into action the faith we have in Jesus, to be his disciples where we are with the people around us.
WEEKLY – meeting in smaller groups
The weekly life of our church is what we call ‘Scatter Groups’. These are groups which are scattered, meeting at different times and places. This is the heartbeat of church life, and the place where we really seek to grow together in faith as we open the Bible together, explore it and spur one another on.
MONTHLY – together as one church
On one weekend of the month, we do things differently. Instead of meeting as Scatter Groups, we come together as one church and we call that ‘Together Sunday’. We eat together, share stories of what has been going on, and worship God together.
Regular events
There are some one-off events every now and then, but there are also two things that happen regularly, which are:
Monday Meeting Place
Weekly, Mondays 11:30am–2pm
A weekly space to connect with others, have a warm drink in a warm environment, and enjoy a game or a chat with others. All welcome!
Crossroads
Monthly, Saturdays 3–5pm
Once a month, a time when all our pathways can cross over! With craft, games, discussion and more, all based around a story from the Bible.
