Easter Crossroads: March 9th

You are invited to ‘Crossroads’ on Saturday 9 March in our church building! It runs from 3–5pm.

We would love to see you there, no matter your age, stage of life or whether you normally ‘do church’ or not. If you’ve not been before, why not come along and see what it’s all about? Our last Crossroads event in February was for Lent and featured the 2024 Pancake Olympics, crafts, games, stories and of course pancakes themselves!

What is Crossroads?

If you’re wondering what Crossroads is, hopefully this will help. Our church is called ‘Pathway Church’ because we know we are all on different journeys. A crossroad is where different pathways come together, so Crossroads is simply a place where everyone can come together for a bit every month.

So everyone is welcome!

Crossroads takes place on the second Saturday of every month, 3–5pm. So that families with younger ones don’t have to rush away early, it will finish (from 4:30pm) with a simple dinner. The session will always involve craft activities, games, and a story from the Bible to help us explore something together.

This is something for families to come to together, not for children to be dropped off at. But it isn’t only for families and children – people of all ages are all welcome!

What’s happening this time?

This time round, our focus is EASTER: THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD! Easter is a really important and special time of year. As well as the bunnies, eggs and joy of spring setting in with warmer days, we remember something really important. The whole of the Bible was leading up to this really important week in the life of Jesus. It is an amazing story that we’ll be retelling at Crossroads, and it can change everything in our lives if we want it to.

Do I need to pay or sign up?

Crossroads is a free event, so you don’t need to pay anything (we know some want to contribute but there’s no pressure to do so). Signing up is helpful so we have a rough idea of numbers, and you can do that by clicking this button.

If you’re seeing this just before the event and haven’t signed up, don’t worry and just come along! We really hope to see you there. If you have any questions or want to find out more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by sending us an email.
